What Is the Revenue Potential of a Swimming Pool Service Franchise?

The swimming pool industry is a $15 billion industry that provides a stable recurring revenue stream. Over 40% of all swimming pool owners (and growing) hire a swimming pool company to clean the swimming pool for them, and the rest still need supplies, equipment, and periodic assistance with repairs and maintenance.

Additionally, pools are usually renovated every seven to nine years. Unlike many of our competitors, who focus solely on cleaning and maintenance, our franchisees are equipped to offer renovations as an additional service line. What Would I Do Each Day?

We make our living in the swimming pool cleaning, equipment replacement/repair, and renovation business. Most of our franchisees operate out of their homes or a small office. Some have opened retail stores, while others have entered swimming pool construction.

Overall, pool cleaning is approximately 40% of our total revenue, equipment replacement/repair makes up 40%, and pool renovations account for the remaining 20%. These percentages fluctuate in various markets, but this is the nationwide average. In short, with multiple revenue streams, you can adapt your business to the needs of your market. Your daily schedule would be dictated by what brings you the most revenue.
