America’s Swimming Pool Company – or ASP as we are commonly called – held its 2017 State of the Union meeting and seminar in Savannah, Georgia. Stewart Vernon, the founder and CEO of ASP, hosted the event, which was attended by ASP franchise owners and key members of the ASP family. This meeting is packed minute-to-minute with incredible speakers and business-changing information.
What is the ASP State of the Union?
The main goal of the State of the Union is to let franchisees know that ASP is healthy and focused on continual growth. Mr. Vernon pointed out early on in the seminar that ASP was just as interested in investing back into its own brand as the franchisees should be in investing in ASP – success depends on everyone! In a “1+1=3” business model philosophy, every single party involved is just as important as the next and acknowledges that they all benefit from being together. Part of this goal is achieved by putting the “best and brightest” professionals in the corporate offices to support the franchisees who act as the face of the company to customers.
America’s Swimming Pool Company is also committed to thinking of new, innovative ways to advance the brand. Rather than staying static and content with what has already been achieved, Mr. Vernon discussed how ASP wants to develop new products and services for franchisees to offer and utilize for profit and equity. Some of the seminar’s time was designated to exploring new ideas and opportunities, as well as problem-solving issues that came to everyone’s attention in 2016. It is all part of the philosophy of “going from good to great.”
